Summary videos

On Monday, we watched the videos of every group of the class about what we have learrnt in School Organization. After that, we had to mark every video, but with the Eurovision marks, that is, 12, 10, 8, 7,6,5,4 and 3. Our points were the following ones:

3 points goes to…
Merkants. It is a very dynamic video and it doesn’t bore you at all. In addition, when they talk about almost each topic, they point out what is the right and what is the wrong, what makes easier to recognize what you should do. Apart from this, the star did a great job in his explanation, being very enthusiastic.

4 points goes to…
Seven Up. As far as we are concerned, the best part of the video of the Seven Up group is when ,unlike other groups, they highlight that they have learnt how to work in groups and, on our opinion, this is a very important aspect that we have learnt in this subject. What is more, the arrows that they use when they talk about creative common makes you understand this part very well.

5 points goes to…
Platypus. From our point of view, this video has a very good explanation of the content, while the others don’t have it and that makes this video unique. Furthermore, the explanation guides you perfectly during the reproduction of the video.

6 points goes to…
Umpalumpas. The video of the Umpalumpas has achieved a great mixture since, on the one hand, it is a very funny video and, on the other hand, it has seriousness, because this task is an academic task.

7 points goes to…
Busy Bees. This video has been very distinct from the other ones; they have done a summary but from other point of view very original and imaginative that would draw more the attention of the children than the other ones: they include the contents that we have learnt from the perspective of a student.

8 points goes to…
Power teachers. The best thing of the video is, definitely, its structure. They have divided its video from the TPACK perspective: technological resources, content and pedagogy and this is great due to the fact that they have used a content that we have learnt in School Organization in order to organize the summary of what we have learnt in this subject

10 points goes to…
ItsChOOL. This group has a very well-organized video because they divide the video in two parts: “New alternatives for teaching and learning” and “Reliability of resources”. Furthermore, from our point of view, although it is a simple video, they have done a great and very complete summary of what we have learnt.

12 points goes to…
Powerpuff teachers. The video of the Powerpuff teachers has been, in our opinion, the best one, inasmuch it points out three characteristics that every teacher ought to ought to offer: technology, pedagogy and contents (these three characteristics are very important). Moreover, the music that has the video makes you get hooked from the first minute.
