Here is the facilitator of KC&KO!!!

Hello everybody!
I'm Paula and this week I’ve been the facilitator of my group, Keep Calm & Keep Organized. It has been a hardworking week. My works as facilitator consists in ensure everything is right. This week, we had to do two mind maps about two topics, “An Overview of the Spanish Educational System” “Organizational variations and alternative structures in primary education”.

First of all, we have to find two days in order to do the work because we couldn’t attend the same day all the members of the group. So, we decided that the best we could do is make one mind map one day 3 members of the group, Marta, Marina and me and other day the other half of the group, Holly, Clara, Ángela, Elena, Marina and Noelia did the second mind map.

On Tuesday, one part of the group did the mind map about “An Overview of the Spanish Educational System” and on Wednesday the other part did the mind map about “Organizational variations and alternative structures in primary education”.

I attend the meeting to do the first mind map on Tuesday, and, as a facilitator I organized the work in order to do the mind map in the best way. So, firstly I divided the information that we should read in order to do the mind map so that help us to distribute the different aspects of the topic. Later, when we already had finished reading the information about the topic in the LOMCE and LOE, we discussed about how we could do the mind map, and what information is more relevant to include within it.

Then, we started doing the mind map, I also organized the way to do the mind map, two people write the idea and the sketch in the blackboard and other person had to transcribe it in the computer. So, although it was hard in some moments, we achieved bit by bit finish the work on time.

The following day, the other part of the group did the same as us and then, other person of the group transcribed the mind map in the computer.

I have to say that being a facilitator is easy when everything is correct but when there are some problems in the dynamic of the group is become a more difficult labor.
Furthermore, this week all of us have worked hard, and the problems that we had the last week disappeared because there has been an improvement in some members of the group.

Finally, I have to say that is easier to work when everybody is implicated 100% and I have to congratulate all of them because this week we had few problems to do the work and, although there are things that all of us should improve (I have no doubts about that) it has been a good week with great results.

Good job, girls!
