Analyst of “Telling stories”

Hello I’m Marina Garcia the analyst of the “Telling stories” activity. I’m goint to do an analysis of our work of last week which consist in the explanation of a topic picked from the curriculum of primary education, in this case the subject of history from fourth grade, that is, nine/ten years old children.

To start with, we all were motivated in this activity we had to explain this topic to the whole group and I could say it was our first experience teaching for some members.
I must say we all had a good time working together, despite the fact that I couldn’t met this week which was a really pity because I would have enjoyed the meeting day with my mates. However, I did the part of the job they assigned to me. This is an example of bad times, because we really want to meet all together all the weeks. We met the whole group several times but it sometimes isn’t feasible.

According to the work we did last week, we have learnt how to use creative common license. It is a non-profit organization that enables the sharing and use of creativity and knowledge through free legal tools. Also,It is FREE and OPEN SOURCE software projects. Another part of this work was to develop 20 tips for make a good presentation. If you want to learn about this you should go to our link of the powerpoint presentation, we will show you our work gratefuly.

To improve our work we must be accurate in the content of each task, and know as much as possible of it. Also, we must have a good pronunciation and be clear in the exposition so every person in the class can understand us and make some questions if they need it, therefore being capable to motivate them as well.

In general, what we need to improve in the exposition is:

1. A clear explanation of the content within a propely use of English language.

2. Clear concepts of the work to show to the class.

3. To know how to use a google shortener while we cite information from others within the presentation.

4. A good estimation of the time we dispose to do our exposition in the class.

5. The use of information from others (in our work) such as images in a propely way, that is, cc license.

This content it is not related to other in our degree. It is brand new content as we didn’t learn it before. Besides it is our first course degree. However, I must say it is very helpful because we focused in what really matter when we have to do a presentation.

COME ON!! DON’T TELL ME STORIES! ;) …and see our work in the links upload in the previos posts… hope it be of some help. If not, could you tell us your questions and suggestions, please?

Thank you for reading us. ❤️‍❤️‍

Marina.
